Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministry first came to Saints Peter & Paul in 2002. It functioned as an active ministry in the Parish for about two years.

Upon the transfer of the Stephen leader, the ministry became dormant. In June 2006, Deacon Alfred Mitchell attended a Stephen leader’s course. He is now in the process of reviving this Parish ministry.

Mission

The mission of the Stephen Ministry is to assist caregivers to be compassionate, full of faith, skilled, and trustworthy. This is done on a one-on-one basis, and is carried out with the utmost confidentiality.
