Father Eric's Thought of the Day

Here is an update on the building status. First, thank you for those who have made a commitment to the Capital Campaign. Without your continued and sacrificial commitment, we could not do anything here. this is a monumental occasion for this parish and a much needed next step for our future. We have finalized the plans fo rthe project and now they are in the hands of the General Contractor, who will return to us in less than 3 weeks with a price for the revised project to make sure that we are still within out total project cost of $1.8 million.

We are in the midst of July and school is just around the corner. Our final plans for vacations and last minute errands are being put together as we see the time pass. I know that we are busy and have so much on our plates to accomplish in such a short time.

Father Eric's Thought of the Day

This weekend, we celebrate Independence Day. Independence from British rule was the original reason for the day, but I believe it has come to mean much more. it has come to mean independence from all oppression and control. I know that our country has its faults and failings; however, we also experience a wonderful freedom that billions wish they had in their lives.
