Adult Faith Formation (RCIA)
The Rite of Christian Initiation is the process used to bring adults - and children over 6 years of age - into the Catholic Church.
Process
- There are various adaptations to the process.
- Adults who were baptized in a non-Catholic tradition are prepared to make a profession of faith.
- Adults who are baptized Catholic, but never received a thorough catechesis or a Roman Catholic upbringing, are able, through this process to complete their initiation through Confirmation and Eucharist.
